Leadership

Mr. O’Bryan has served as President, with responsibility overseeing all aspects of oil and gas operations, since joining the R. Lacy team in 2018. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas business, including executive and asset general management, drilling engineering and technology management, production and reservoir engineering supervision. Prior to joining R. Lacy, Mr. O’Bryan was the CEO at Pardus Oil & Gas. He was also the President and CEO at Fidelity Exploration and Production, and held Vice President positions in drilling, completions and production at BP. Mr. O’Bryan holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.

Mr. Hogan joined the R. Lacy team in March 2025 as President of the Crain Family Office. Prior to joining R. Lacy, Mr. Hogan served for three years as Chief Commercial Officer for JADEC, LLC, which is the family office for the Chao family in Houston, Texas and for four years as General Counsel for Avalon Advisors, LLC, a wealth advisory firm in Houston. Before joining Avalon, Mr. Hogan spent 16 years serving as General Counsel at Quintana Minerals Corporation, the family office for the Corby Robertson, Jr. family and as President of Natural Resource Partners, L.P., a publicly traded natural resource company controlled by the Robertson family. Mr. Hogan began his career as a corporate securities lawyer at Andrews Kurth and Vinson & Elkins. Mr. Hogan graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Duke University and has J.D. with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Haas has served as Vice President of Engineering since joining the R. Lacy team in 2014. His responsibilities at R. Lacy include internal reserves analysis, development planning, and acquisition and divestiture evaluation. Mr. Haas started his career at Haas Petroleum Engineering Services as a reservoir engineer. His work at Haas included preparation of field studies and reserves reports for public and private oil and gas companies. Mr. Haas has experience working in reservoirs across the continental United States with an expertise in unconventional resources. Mr. Haas holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Deborah has served as Chief Financial Officer for R. Lacy since joining the team in 2022, and oversees all finance and accounting aspects of the Company. Prior to joining R Lacy he served as CFO at Wagner Oil Company and held several positions at Hunt Oil Company, ExxonMobil and Deloitte. He has over 30 years of experience finance, planning and accounting in the oil and gas industry. Mr Deborah is a Texas CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University.

Mr. Bresch has served as Vice President of Exploration since 2017. He joined the R. Lacy team as a Staff Geologist in 2008. Prior to joining R. Lacy, Mr. Bresch worked for EXCO Resources as a Development Geologist focused on the company’s Ark-La-Tex assets. Mr. Bresch started his career with Winchester Production Company, which was acquired by EXCO Resources in 2006. Mr. Bresch holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Centenary College of Louisiana.

Ms. Gilchrist has served as Vice President of Land since joining the R. Lacy team in 2014. She has over 30 years of experience in domestic and international land, acquisitions, and divestitures. Before joining R. Lacy, Ms. Gilchrist worked in corporate New Ventures for Devon Energy in Oklahoma City from 2006 to 2014. Ms. Gilchrist began her career at Union Oil Company of California (Unocal) and worked for Placid Oil Company, Toreador Resources and National Energy Group (NEG) before joining Devon Energy. Ms. Gilchrist holds a degree in Petroleum Land Management from Texas Tech University.

Mr. Henderson has served as the Vice President of Marketing since 2014 and joined the R. Lacy team as Marketing Manager in 2012. He is responsible for all midstream marketing services, including gathering, compression, treating and processing. Mr. Henderson previously served as Vice President of Gas Marketing for Crosstex Energy. Prior to Crosstex Mr. Henderson held senior marketing roles at Eastex Energy, Valero and Ferrellgas. He began his career with Amoco Production Company as a Senior Landman. Mr. Henderson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University.

Mr. Koon currently serves as Vice President of Operations at R. Lacy, a role he has held since 2025. Previously, he served as Operations Manager, Drilling Manager and Senior Drilling Engineer. He joined R. Lacy in 2015 as a Drilling Engineer and has contributed to a variety of engineering projects, including production optimization, facilities design, and pipeline construction.

Before joining R. Lacy, Mr. Koon worked as a Senior Drilling Engineer for EOG Resources in Tyler and Midland, Texas, where he focused on drilling across multiple resource plays and led several wildcat exploration projects throughout Texas and Louisiana.

Mr. Koon earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Mr. Thompson has served as Vice President of Land since 2025. He joined the R. Lacy team in 2017 as Land Manager and currently oversees all land-related activities for the company, while also supporting the implementation and delivery of its strategic objectives.

Mr. Thompson began his career in 2005 with RWT Land Services, LLC as a contract landman, where he advanced to project supervisor and ultimately Vice President before joining R. Lacy. His experience as both a field landman and an in-house landman provides him with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of land management.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University – College Station.

Ms. Todd has served as Vice President of Legal since 2014. She joined the R. Lacy team in 2011 as an in-house attorney. Ms. Todd provides legal support for all aspects of the Company’s oil and gas activities as well as assists in the implementation and delivery of the Company’s strategic objectives. Ms. Todd began practicing law in 2005 and worked as outside counsel until she joined the R. Lacy team. Ms. Todd holds a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from LeTourneau University.

Mr. Kilby serves as the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Crain Family Office. He is responsible for the construction, implementation, and maintenance of the investment portfolio and leads all aspects of the investment platform including capture and digestion of relevant data, building new relationships, managing the portfolio in accordance with the guidance from the Investment Committee, and communicating all progress, decisions, and efforts to the Crain Family and Crain Family Office stakeholders. He joined the Crain Family's enterprise in 2015 as a Business Development Manager for R. Lacy. Prior to joining R. Lacy, Mr. Kilby served in roles of increasing responsibility at Shell E&P, Murphy Oil, Resolute Energy, and Source Energy Partners. Mr. Kilby holds a Masters of Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Washington & Lee University.
